We believe churches are important for the health of their communities and their building represent an underutilized asset that can be unleashed to engage, fund, and sustain their mission.  We come alongside existing churches to help them more sustainably serve their community, and we acquire empty church buildings primed for revitalization.

Shalom animates everything we do

It is our desire to see every community thrive and experience shalom. We believe the local church is the God-ordained means to bring shalom, and it is our passion to unleash the potential of church buildings to serve their surrounding communities.

The New Church Commons Approach

As we seek to revitalize historic church buildings, we are looking for ways to use the campuses to love and serve the surrounding community. The assets of each community and campus vary and the needs of each community differ but with a little listening, some discernment, and hard work something beautiful can happen. We study each community's assets and needs using the Thriving Cities endowments (Truth, Beauty, Goodness, Justice, Sustainability, and Prosperity) and work with the assets to address the most pressing needs.

From creatives making art and music to multiple church communities gathering for worship, from schools serving people of all abilities to recovery groups seeking restoration, and from wellness practitioners to social entrepreneurs, Central Commons provides a place for the community to gather. All of this is happening ON THE SAME CAMPUS, AT THE SAME TIME, where unique and diverse people cross paths, interact, and learn from and with each other, thereby giving a glimpse of heaven on earth. We seek to honor the legacy of Central Christian Church (c 1863) by extending its essential work of gathering people from around North Texas, offering transformation to all who would come.

Our mission at PARIS EPICENTRE is to provide community-driven spaces where individuals and organisations can come together, connect and collaborate. We recognise the importance of a well-designed space and our recently purchased multi-level facility is currently being upgraded to serve diverse interests and create opportunities for people to come together and create community.
